Our Ministries
Hope Lutheran Church Ministries
Jesus taught that the most important commandments are to love the Lord God with all our hearts and minds and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Martin Luther taught, “A Christian is the most free lord of all, and subject to none; a Christian is the most dutiful servant of all, and subject to every one.”
As followers of Christ, who also bear the name of Lutheran, we understand that the freedom we have been given through Christ is a call to go forth and serve our neighbors. The ministries of Hope Lutheran Church strive to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the Milton community and to the world beyond, through proclamation of the Word and through Christian service.
