About Hope
WHAT WE BELIEVE
OUR MISSION
MARKED with the cross of Christ forever, we are claimed, gathered and sent for the sake of the world.
OUR VISION
CLAIMED by God’s grace for the sake of the world,
We are a new creation through God’s living word by the power of the Holy Spirit;
GATHERED by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we will
Live among God’s faithful people
Hear the word of God and share in the Lord’s supper;
SENT by God’s grace for the sake of the world, we will
Proclaim the good news of God in word and deed
Serve all people, following the example of Jesus
Strive for justice and peace in all the earth.
ALL ARE WELCOME…
Jesus welcomed sinners, fed them with the gift of divine grace, invited them into a relationship with him, and then transformed them from the inside out. At Hope Lutheran Church, we strive to welcome all as Jesus would welcome them. We would love to welcome you into our family, so that we might live out together our baptismal call as disciples of the crucified and risen Savior.
Hope Lutheran History
In January of 1974, the first meeting of an organization committee met to discuss the future of Hope Lutheran Church and the first service was held in September.

The ELCA
A merger of three Lutheran churches formed the ELCA in 1988. They were The American Lutheran Church, the Association of Evangelical Lutheran Churches and the Lutheran Church in America.
